The 7RS in Supply chain
 

One of the most important roles of the logistics management is the 7R’s. It is about getting the Right product, in the Right condition, to the Right place, at the Right time, to the Right customer at the Right price with the Right quantity.

1- Right product:
Refers to the product that customer needs either today or in the future.

2- Right place:
Right place is the place where the the customers need the product. You should do extensive market research to know the right place need to be targeted.

3- Right Customer :
It’s very important that your product reach the right customer who has a real need to your product. A company may be producing a standard product, But depending on the needs of customers ,you may add extra features to meet the different needs.

4- Right time :
Even if everything else in the process is done perfectly, the entire process can fill if the timing is not right. So Timing is very essential you should ensure right time of delivering the product.

5- Right quantity :
It’s important to determine the right quantity of the product. If you do not meet the demand of the product, you will lose some chance of making money.

6- Right price:
You should ensure that you offer your products with highest quality and lowest cost in the market.

7- Right Condition:
It is about the safe delivery of your products to the customer.
